Disappointing experience in Owner Suite

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

We booked 2 owner suites on the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary. One suite for my wife and I and one suite for our adult children, who have left the house but back to form the ' original familiy ' for one week in Florida, including this mini cruise to the Bahama's. My wife and I have booked an owner suite before on a simular Royal Caribbean ship a number of years ago. Nothing wrong with ...

Not the worst, but not the best either!

We chose this cruise with a group total of 18. This was all of our first time on any RC line. First off, the ship is very nice, I love the layout and how there is plenty of space to hang out by the pools, walk the promenade, etc. There was plenty of activities to entertain both the adults and kids, too. 98% of the staff we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful, even with being ...

This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise! It was very awesome. Embarkation was simple and to the point. The rooms were dated but they were clean. The room staff was awesome and attentive and always had a smile.Adventure ocean was great for my ten year old and one year old. I felt like I did not have any worries or anxiety taking my 1 year old there for a couple of hours in the evening. The food ...

We chose this cruise because it was short and the grandkids had off from school. WE were a party of four adults and three children. Embarcation was organized and smooth. Once on board, we first stopped at our Muster Station and then went to our outside cabins. I noticed that our cabin had a balcony which was walled off! What a waste. We then grabbed a bite at the Windjammer. The food was ...

Average Cruising Experience

My overall experience on this ship was just "meh." I went with my mother, sister, and aunt, and we had two connecting balcony rooms. The rooms feel a little outdated, but thankfully the AC worked well in the rooms and stayed cold throughout most of the night. Our room attendant was great, but he never told us his name! Dinner was the most chaotic thing I have ever experienced on an RCL cruise. We ...

Booked this cruise for my three children for spring break 2023. Freedom of the seas ship overall could use an upgrade - this is less noticeable in the common areas but very noticeable in guest rooms. The food was plentiful but average overall. We did have a nice italian dinner one night. Dining rooms were chaotic and our assigned table was not available. Staff in general are trying very hard but ...

This was a last minute deal for us to celebrate our birthdays! Embarkation was very smooth and fast in Miami. We stayed in the Courtyard by the airport and were picked up by our Uber at 10:05 am and on the ship by 11:20 am. That easy. We had gorgeous weather all 4 days so we spent most the time outside. The ship was full. Yes, there were kids, but they didn't bother us. We have kids ...

I am an active 62 year old. My husband and I took this trip with another couple. We took in February so there would not be many children. The primary reason that I give RC a low rating is that the ship was full of children. It seemed as if the ship was 50% children, 20% their parents with strollers for each child, and 20% young adults and 10% older adults, some with wheelchairs. If I had ...

I forgot my Kindle reader in the cabin. I reported it the next day and they have a third party that supposedly does follow up. I knew exactly where my lost Kindle was in the cabin, etc, so I thought this would be easy to retrieve. Not so!! After 5 days I did a follow up and i got a note back saying they were still searching??!! It has now been 10 days and no reply. So my Kindle was either taken ...

We sailed on the Freedom of the Seas from Sept 12 - 16 to the Bahamas. We picked this ship because of the Ice rink on board. Embarkation: Super easy! We were suite passengers and also Key passengers so we were escorted to the suite lounge for check-in and waiting. We were on the boat by 11. They said that lunch started at 11, but it didn't start until 12, and our room wasn't ready until ...
