Ship needs refurbishment badly. Rips, tears and holes in furniture throughout. Stained, dirty upholstery. Ripped, stained, faded flooring throughout. Chipped and peeling paint throughout. Broken window in the Silver dining room. Decor is very old, odd colors, strange designs. Water shut off during lunch hours two days into the trip for floors 8&9. 9 is Lido, the buffet. Sewer problem 1st ...

Overall happy

Overall I enjoyed this cruise experience. Some things I really enjoyed about the Carnival Liberty were: 1) The inside stateroom (8250) was plenty roomy enough and everything worked as it should. Some newer ships have much smaller inside rooms, but on the Liberty it was a perfect size. Not cramped for 2 adults. I also like that you can order a 12 pack of water prior to the cruise for a ...

We choose this cruise because it was an affordable quick getaway. Have been on the same RC ships several times and we wanted to be on a ship that was new to us. Carnival had a cruise that met our needs so we booked it. We had been given a boarding time of 12:30pm because we had booked the cruise so late but when we arrived at 10:45am, we were allowed to board almost immediately. The buffet ...

Honestly i did not have a great experience which really saddens me because it was our first cruise and we were very excited for my boyfriends birthday. I paid a good bit of money to have the room decorated for his birthday the day we got on and have cookies and beer in the room. When we got there it was decorated but no cookies or beer, i then had to ruin the surprise of those items by calling ...

We chose this cruise for our Anniversary since it left out of Port Canaveral. This is my third Carvnival cruise and have cruised on most other lines. We have been to the Bahamas but not overnight. The Liberty is a very nice ship. It was well decorated and did not appear to need updates as other reviews have noted. There was plenty of places to sit and relax. The pool area was laid out very ...

This was our second cruise with Carnival on the same ship, Liberty the first cruise itself was better this one overall just left a bad taste in my mouth the alcohol package is outrageous and everyone 21 and over in your cabin has to order one even if they don't drink we weren't going to spend over $500 on alcohol for four days and each drink was almost $12, at the very end of the cruise we were ...

Went down for a long weekend visiting family and decided to extend our visit by booking a 4 night cruise on Carnival. Had a blast! Although we have cruised many times before, this is our third cruise on Carnival. From the time we arrived at the port, until the time we were sitting at a table nears Guys' was probably less than twenty minutes. Painless embarkation. Absolutely loved MarQ the CD. He ...

Just back from our short cruise on the Liberty. I am a Platinum with Carnival, have been cruising with them for years. The last past two years we did cruise with Royal Caribbean, on the Oasis and then the Harmony because we wanted to cruise on the BIG ships. Anyway...we are booked on the Mardi Gras on 01/02.21 already. Now why I am writing this. We were not pleased at all with this last cruise. ...

Let me start by saying the best part of my cruise was my housekeeper Tony, he was awesome. The bad Had a handful of rude crew members, bars were way under staffed, slide shut down, 1 pool shut down ( the quiet kid free pool ), customer service stations seemed to be closed more then open, ask crew about something and get wrong answer or a I dont know, Your Time Dining restaurant wasnt what we ...

Beautiful ship! Crew is outstanding. Entertainment was awesome. MDR food - Breakfast- delicious, Dinner- little disappointed. Steakhouse -food AMAZING, service - not the best. Pros- the Crew and the decor of this ship!! Cons- not enough seating in Serenity, MDR food kind of blah. If you want to relax during the day and have a great time in evening, this is the ship. Embarking was a ...
