Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

This was our 11th cruise and our 7th with Royal Caribbean. We are Platinum members, almost Emerald, yet we are thinking of switching to another cruise line. We couldn't wait to sail on the Oasis, but by day 4 of our 7-day cruise, we couldn't wait to get home. Embarkation at Port Canaveral is handled smoothly. The lounge opened at 9:30, but boarding for all passengers began at 11:30. The special ...

We were on a group Bible study cruise. We have discovered we don't really like cruising on a large cruise ship, but the staff was exemplary the only complaint we have is the strength of the coffee. It was so strong that we could not drink it. I suggest a medium blend. Our group enjoyed the use of the Conference Center and the Dazzles Room. Central Park was great; we were on Deck 8 on the ...

I choose this cruise because I had so much fun in November when I went on the same ship, The staff is incredible, food is amazing, The waiters are fantastic, you really feel like Royalty. the pools are super cool and there is plenty of room for everybody, you will not feel crowded or bored at any time! Flow rider is awesome, try the standing one, it is so much fun! The shows are fantastic, ...

I have been cruising since 2004 and I have been on at least 24 cruises. This was my very 1st with Royal Caribbean international. From the time we arrived at the terminal until the time we left the terminal to go home......everything was GREAT! I will DEFINITELY cruise with Royal Caribbean International again! My husband and I were very satisfied with their service, ship, and variety of activities. ...

Great experience

It was a pleasant cruise, but it felt like a timeshare experience. Everyone wanted to sell you something. They would interrupt your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It would happen on a daily basis as well. Beautiful ship, great food, excellent shows. Labadie was a delight. The food was cooked in a pit style and was delicious. Jamaica was beautiful but very hot. All the vendors where very nice and ...

Nice Trip to Eastern Caribbean

Chose this trip because people we travel with wanted to try a large ship. 1. Embarkation was quick and smooth. (We are Diamond Plus so it is easier on us now.) 2. It is a big ship and had good entertainment, but we truly like the smaller ships with fewer people better. 3. Our cabin was fine. We spent less time on our balcony this trip due to the windy weather, but everything was clean ...

Ship is beautiful. Food service is lacking and overall a poor experience.

Food service was terrible in the Main buffet (Windjammer) and Chops. Winjammer is too small for the number of guests served. Always out of basics like silverware! This was a daily experience. Chops service was the worst I have ever experienced on a cruise ship. Steaks were undercooked. Sent back twice. Sides were cold. After asking three times for a glass of wine I finally went to a bar ...

Not bad compared to Disney Cruise

This was our first cruise other than Disney. I have always stuck with Disney for the family friendly atmosphere and was afraid I would not get that with another cruise line. The boat itself is large yet very manageable. I never experienced crowds and it felt less crowded then the Disney ships. The elevators were also quick and rarely did you have to wait. Our room was midship on the sixth floor ...

Fun on the BIG ship

Wanted to experience the BIG ship. It did not disappoint. We had a great time with everything. Our Cabin (10728/Aft) was awesome and our cabin steward (Romel) was great. The ship was in good shape. We were told not to try and do everything, just enjoy the ship, and that is what we did. We probably didn't see or do everything, but we can say that what we did was awesome. Central Park and the ...
