My first time on the the msc. The embarkation was a bit sloppy. Took forever. Just before boarding, at passport control, friendly crew staff, checking passport. On board we welcomed by by friendly staff.at first i thought i was in shopping mall. Wow, my cabin was great, clean, the ship was clean, beautiful layout. I enjoyed the staff partying with us as we left durban harbour. It was ...

My sons and I had a fantastic cruise. This was our first cruise and it was an awesome experience. I loved the fact that there were lots of activities that kept my 15 year old entertained. The staff at the Il Covo Restaurant were amazing. Luigi & Chundrandaw were the 2 people that went out of their way to make our dining experience out of this world. There could have been more Jacuzzi's on ...

We had to get away from the craziness of the City and knew about the Cruise to nowhere options! Luckily I saw the add on an email forwarded to me. The cruise was the first real holiday I took in about 12 years and after reading about the Cruise and the entertainment on board I had to book the ticket and my Parents went with as they had to get away from the City as well. I loved every bit of ...

The cruise amount was within our budget. It was also a gift from our children as it was my 50th Birthday celebration. The food was excellent and we enjoyed all the restuarants and meal areas. We compliment our waiter Agungh from Indonesia/Malaysia he was awesome...friendly and helpful and has a good sense of humour. The shows and entertainment were excellent. I was very disappointed that we did ...

Great time but space for improvement

We went for a family member's anniversary and birthday. We needed a quick and powerful break for everyone. Will definately go on a MSC cruise again. Some of the food did lack a bit of taste, but there is a wide variety of food almost 24 hours available. The Sail-Away party is not as powerful and entertaining as it used to be in the past and there's less waiters on the deck and in the pub than ...

As a person with dietary specifications (gluten intolerant & vegan) I was happily surprised by the helpful service of the servers & cooks! I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The theatre shows were high quality, the facilities luxurious, and I found a book that I've been wanting to read in the onboard library. I also used the gym - enjoying the wonderful view of the ocean! The service was ...

Our embarkation was delayed by a day due to unpredictable weather coming from Cape Town, so only embarked on the 23rd Jan 2018. As always, we could not wait to begin our holiday. We proceeded to Portuguese Islands and Maputo, had to cut out Pomene due to the day short, which was a pity, as this is the second time we have booked a Pomene trip and have had to forfeit it. But it was all brilliant ...

it was recommended by a friend and we had a worst experience and MSC staff were not very helpful since they just wanted us to pay more money regardless of our traumatic experience. We tried to explain that we had previously bought packages for drinks and water and have been lost in our bag. we requested for the staff to check our expenditure in their system but to no avail. Instead we paid for ...

The ship arrived late due to weather conditions this resulted in a change in itinerary however this was done to benefit MSC and not its passengers as the one destination that the majority wanted to see being Pemene was cut out and we merely parked off Portuguese Island for two days. The cabin was poorly prepared and had two broken door hinges, exposed wiring on a fluorescent tube in the ...

We have travelled with MSC in 2013 and had a great experience, so that is the reason for choosing MSC again. We had a fun day at the play park and Ushaka in Durban the day before departure on the MSC. On the day of embarkation it took us about 15 minutes from the time we parked our vehicle (long term secured parking) until we were on the MSC. Everything went smooth, no hassles. The staff are ...
