Route: 12 day voyage: Fort Lauderdale - George Town - Costa Maya – Cozumel – New Orleans – Fort Lauderdale
1. General Comments: We are regular cruisers, and the focus of this cruise - as it was for everyone on board – was Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Passengers were mainly US and Canadian, but there was a good number of other nationalities.
We had a cabin with verandah on the 8th deck. ...
Just returned from a fantastic cruise on the Celebrity Equinox with two nights in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras was great and we were able to see four parades. The parade experience is pretty family friendly but Bourbon Street is an adult experience especially later in the day.
The Equinox is in great shape and the staff was fantastic. We thought the shows in the theatre were ...
Celebrity, as always, delivered a wonderful vacation! Embarkation went smoothly and we were warmly welcomed on board. The Equinox is a beautiful ship - spacious public areas, roomy cabins, superb crew and delicious food. We love sailing on these ships and never fail to come away with sweet vacation memories and new friends. She's showing just a bit of her age with a few rust spots noticeable ...
We chose this cruise because Celebrity has a good reputation. I would say that it is mainly deserved. The ship itself was very smart and the buffet is the best I have experienced in terms of choice and spacious layout.
Food was generally good, although the chefs do seem very keen on mashed potato. The dining room had an impressive decor. Everyone we met at dinner seemed very nice and friendly. ...
We booked this cruise while we were on Celebrity Silhouette 18 months prior. Sister ships to be sure, but there are a few differences and had been some changes since then.
The Equinox delivers the typical Celebrity experience. The right mix of luxury, fun, entertainment, and service excellence.
Port Everglades embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze. We did not draw a particularly ...
I had been on this same cruise a couple of years ago and got quarantined by an outbreak of norovirus. This time there was no such problem. The ship was well maintained and comfortable. The service in the main dining room, the Silhoutte, was outstanding. However, except for the last two days, the menu was weak. In addition, the passengers were laughing about the portion controls. The ...

This review will also be mailed to celebrity so they can extol those who went above and beyond and make adjustments where needed. I am a 54 year veteran of the hospitality industry, an Italian trained ...
Love the solstice class ships. Staff friendly rooms well kept and ship well maintained.
Love the new overnights in port, ours was St.Maartin.
Eating in the Blu restaurant is what makes this a special night out, with it's clean menu and lots of choice.
Enjoy the quiet of the solarium pool area and spa Cafe.
Had some great singers and comedians on board that made for a wonderful ...
We love this ship !! You couldn't ask for better customer service. They looked after us so well and we couldn't thank them enough. Latoya in customer service on the ship was amazing. John Grantham our cruise director is absolutely fabulous. The evening shows were amazing, although we didn't love the juggler. The comedians were the best !! The food was great, although I did notice a bit of a ...
We're active late 60's couple who have only cruised a few times over the last 15 years including One on Millenium around 10 years ago. We were considering Princess or Celebrity and chose this cruise primarily because we liked what we heard about the ship, the itinerary, and the price.
Ft. Lauderdale: stayed at Crowne Plaza near Port Everglades for 2 nights and used Uber for rides to dinner ...
