Still a Positive Experience on a Cruise Line Going Downhill

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

If you are or know people who just plain refuse to cruise on Carnival because of the atmosphere, I predict these people will be avoiding Royal Caribbean in the years to come. Overall, we had a good experience on this cruise. The service level was generally high, although it seems like there is a lot of disorganization. The ship is clean and well-maintained. The food (at dinner, anyway) is ...

I was looking to book my first cruise and considered going with Carnival because of the price. After talking with several of my peers and receiving 100% suggestion to go with Royal Caribbean, we booked the trip. I knew that the experience was likely to be good because of all that I heard about cruises in general and furthermore Royal Caribbean as a company. I truly was impressed with every facet ...

We had a great trip on Liberty of the seas, enjoyed it with two teenage kids and had a great Spring Break blast! We looked forward for the formal dinner everyday on board, it was really fun and great family time. The staff were friendly and caring staff from all over the world. One of the shows we enjoyed was the 'Saturday Nigh Fever' musical, it was spectacular. The excursions we took in ...

We usually cruise on Carnival because of our perks but we wanted to see how Royal Caribbean compared. We were so impressed with the Windjammer food and selection, we art there 6 out of 7 nights. The food was just as good as main dining and huge selection. The Ship was amazing. If you have kids, the water parks and activities are second to none. The room service food quality was outstanding. ...

As I am a Platinum Member on Royal Caribbean. This past cruise is the first time I see some things that bothered me on this particular cruise. first, I must say that the overall services of all staff members was excellent except for there were times that some staff members did a poor job in greeting you or evening saying good morning. First day on board, I tried to order a water package ...

Spring Break Cruise

I was disappointed in the hard sell of items from the minute you stepped onto the ship and all throughout the cruise. Picture taking from staff: why the need for an individual photo? Not all photos taken ended up in our selection, where did they go? Pirates at the ports, almost accosting to get pictures, not acceptable. The Staff was AMAZING! They all seemed to enjoy doing what they did and ...

We had been the Liberty before and really liked it. It was my favorite ship and itinerary! The shows were top notch!! The ice shows are amazing. The comedians were very funny!! The dining room food was excellent and the service of the staff was top notch. If you didn't like a meal, they would replace it and want to make sure that you were happy with the result. If I couldn't make up my mind ...

This was a last minute cruise. It had the ports we were interested in visiting and the price was right. This was a cruise with my best friend. We are both seniors. Easy and fast check in. Food was good - not great. Entertainment ok for free, not great. Cruise Director is boring and has no personality. Wait staff, room steward, everyone on the ship that I came in contact with was friendly ...

We chose Royal Caribbean cruise line because they receive such high ratings. We agree with all that everyone said. The food, service, activities, shows, and excursions were amazing! Our family had such an amazing vacation! We went to snorkel with stingrays in Honduras, hung out at the beach in Belize, and went to Adventure Beach in Cozumel. We really enjoyed all three activities. Our ...

Leaving from Galveston was a plus for us. We did not realize this was a spring break for Arkansas and Oklahoma. The ship was packed and it took forever to get an elevator. The pools were crammed person to person as were the hot tubs. We didn't go in either. The food was just okay. We were definitely disappointed with the Diamond Lounge. The glasses were filthy although the servers couldn't ...
