We bought a package from the same Pullmantur company, it included the round air ticket from Madrid, the price was incredible cheap! From Dubai airport they drove us directly to the cruise port , the check in was very fast , and we had lunch in the ship , At 12.30 pm we had our state rooms ready..The ship is old , but clean and mantained, Our cabin , 1020 ( with balcony) was very good, the beds ...

The Price is great. The kitchen and the personal in the dining area and in the bars are excellent. The cabins are ok and clean. Tbe fitness offer is fine. Officially Spanish and English should be spoken, but basically most of the communication and presentations are only Spanish (and a minmum of English text). The organisation is not qualified for 2 languages! We received wrong ...

Chose this mini cruise as it was leaving from Malaga, a fabulous port and very near home. Check in was smooth and hassle free. had lunch on board and contracted gastroenteritis, 3 hours after lunch! medical staff dealt very professional and after 10 h i was fine again, the 24h quarantine is harsh and hard, but rules are rules. .. The staff on board, are excellent and treat every passenger like " ...

A fun adventure to Spain and Morocco

Morocco has been on my bucket list for a while. We were in Gibraltar a while back and you could see across the straits to Africa. I have students from Africa and wanted to ride a camel also. You can get there on the mainstream lines, but usually just on transatlantic runs. Lisbon was a plus also. I did a search for those two ports and found Pullmantur. They are an off shoot of Royal ...

We had been on two other Pullmantur ships and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. This time we had a family trip, including two small children. We chose Pullmantur for this reason. On other cruise lines there are often few children and many very old passengers, who are uncomfortable with much, and with any children or young people especially. Being a Spanish line there are extended Spanish ...

Old ship, boring entertainment, the only good thing is food

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the price. We got a balcony room for the decent price. The room was OK, but there was a vibration from the engine or from other mechanical part, that sometimes was severe and disturbed the sleep. We complained to the customer service, someone came to check, he said that this is a known problem and left and that's it. Food was good, wine, coffee ...

Travelling thru Greece and other Countries and decided on. a cruise from Piraeus to the surrounding islands. Some staff were very aggogant and rude. Luggage was damaged on receiving outside our cabin. The cabin ceiling in part had been freshly painted and reeked of paint odour, The cabin was sprayed with deodorants. Overall, being English, most travelling were European, mainly ...

Old ship, dated and dirty

Review for Horizon to Greece

The cruise was not a very good experience for us. When travel agent was selling us the ship, we were told us it is comparable to the royal caribbean fleet. We came in this ship expecting similar conditions for the ship and we were shocked by the general condition and the lack of cleanliness. He did not sell this as an inferior quality cruise liner. When we complained at the reception desk ...

We have been on 31 cruises but this was our first time on a Pullmantur ship. We liked the idea that it is a Spanish cruise line since my husband speaks Spanish fluently. The cruise price included gratuities and all beverages so it was a better value than a hotel. The itinerary included two Greek Islands that we had not been to before. Pullmantur's Horizon is an older ship but the maintenance ...

Excellent Value on This Specialty Cruise

Pullmantur Horizon was chosen for this Suez Cruise for the value, the lesser single supplement and the opportunity to enjoy the Spanish cuisine. The ship, although relatively elderly, is in excellent condition and certainly well-built, giving no ominous creaking and swaying. My cabin was a 4 bed room and very comfortable. The public rooms, elevators, deck areas, buffets, dinning areas are well ...
