A great itinerary and cruise!

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Azamara Quest

This was an outstanding cruise! We picked this cruise for 2 reasons: the itinerary and our previous pleasant experiences with Azamara. We were not disappointed. We were traveling with friends; this was their first cruise in many years. They were also very impressed and pleased. The refurbished Quest is gorgeous, particularly the re-purposed Living Room. I think it was our favorite place ...

Azamara Quest and The Baltic; a great time.

This was our second trip with Azamara; we were on the Journey last year. We are 2 Senior women who travel together quite a bit. We like the size of the ship. The renovations done were very nice. On both of our Azamara cruises embarkation and disembarkation ran smoothly. We stayed in a hotel in Stockholm for 4 nights before getting on the ship. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The cabin ...

Great ports; tiny rooms

We chose Azamara for the Baltic because of the itinerary and docking locations. On that point, they delivered. The only city we didn't dock right in town was Stockholm. First the good: The staff and crew was friendly, professional and helpful. Morale seemed to be good, which was passed on to the passengers. We had a family emergency back home while on board and Yasmin the Concierge was very ...

Beautiful St. Petersburg

Our first time to the Baltic before. All the ports of call were new to us. We chose this cruise for the itinerary because the ship stayed in St. Petersburg 3 full days and Azamara stays longer times in the various ports of call. We like Azamara because it is a small ship (approx. 650 passengers) and it feels like a boutique hotel. Staff and crew are friendly and attentive. Food is very good. A ...

This is the worst ship I've ever been on!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

This was the Monaco Grand Prix cruise. We were planning to take SilverSea but their cruise was too long. The Quest was billed as a 5 star ship, so we had high, unfulfilled expectations. Not withstanding an alleged recent rehab, the ship looked old and run down. Our displeasure began with boarding when we were moved from pilar to post around the ship in Nice for health forms at one station, ...

Our travel agent recommended this GrandPrix Cruise as we then stayed on board for another 12 nights to Southampton Oh what a BIG mistake.Captain Carl made is first onboard talk,WE have sailed with him before very nice person. But what he said was alarming making it perfectly clear what to expect. It was more of a beer cruise than an 6 star Azamara luxury cruise Hardly anyone turned up for the ...

Azamara, how disappointing.

I cannot put into words strongly enough what a disgraceful situation we had to endure for eight days, if you want to diet this is the cruise for you the food is terrible, if you want to be treated like a second class citizen and patronised cruise Azamara. When booking our cruise it was stated that suite quests could use the two speciality restaurants every night if they wish, this is totally ...

First time with Azamara; will not be our last!

We were on the Athens to Nice sailing and had a great experience. To be honest, I was not expecting to like this cruise and thought many times to cancel. I’m glad I did not. We had a verandah cabin, which is the smallest cabin we’ve ever had. I was expecting a cramped room with little storage but was surprised in how well the cabin was designed. We did not feel cramped at all and had plenty ...

Fabulous Cruise from Athens to Nice!

We were on the same cruise as an earlier negative reviewer; had a totally different experience! We had a verandah cabin, which had great storage ( we didn't even use it all) and utilized the desk and mirror area as a secondary makeup area. The food and drinks were awesome....the daily wines were pretty good as a whole and the staff was great about bringing us a previous wine if we did not like the ...

Wonder Quest Sailing !

Friends had sailed on Azamara before and raved about it, so we wanted to give it a try and we LOVED it ! Will be back ! The ship was smaller than our most recent cruises, and we loved that part of it, even though we were skeptical. Also loved the demographic - much more our speed - not many children, no rock climbing wall, no water slide, etc., etc. Very relaxed atmosphere and fantastic ...
