Prior to this cruise I hadn't sailed NCL in a dozen years due to dissatisfaction at the time. The Western Med itinerary/pricing drew me back as I figured I wouldn't be on the ship much.
Well, NCL has vastly improved and I loved the service, food, and ship activities. The public spaces were excellent for the most part. I wasn't a big fan of the cabin layout but it wasn't terrible.

We were able to up bid from the mini suite to the 2bedroom Haven and was very pleased with the upgrade. Special treatment on both embarkation and disembarkation making it a breeze to get on and off the ship. The Have restaurant was great along with the special dinning package which gave you a good variety of food to choose from.

We had one full day in Barcelona, and would go back in a heartbeat! What a beautiful city. So much to see and do and look at. Something for everyone!
We had an AirB&B at Plaza Reial, absolutely great! Went to sagrada the familia.
Also, went to see the fountain show at the mountain of Muntjic. Beautiful! Neat to see!

My adult daughter and I were meeting up in Barcelona & decided to go on a cruise. I'd decided on The Haven suites, probably a 1 BR, but I ended up getting an amazing price on a 2 BR suite - cheaper than the 1 BR! The cruise chose me and not vice versa and it came with the package of the travel agency. We were skeptical at the beginning since we had bad experience in the Bahamas in a cheap claustrophobic cabin. Was pleasantly surprised this time with our stateroom balcony on the thirteenth floor.
