Rusting old ship

The crew we met complained about working long hours and receiving poor pay in return. The entertainment was rubbish with the singers obviously miming and the theatre was very cold. We were in cabin 11195 but couldn’t use the miniscule balcony as there was water leaking from the water slide above. The furniture on the balcony was filthy and paint was splashed over it and the glass doors. ...

We chose this as a 3 day Xmas cruise with friends and due to that we had a great time. A great time that had little to do with the ship and the facilities. Toilet blocked as we left the ship and the poor room steward had to clean up.....continuous noises from the toilet all the time in the cabin over the 3 days until it gave up. The staff are excellent and always had a smile ( God knows why), the ...

We have sailed 2X with Pacific Aria and now did our second trip with the Dawn due to the kids section as we took our son and his family with us which made it their 1st cruise and our 4th cruise. Needless to say the kids play area was too cold for the kids so there were hardly any kids in there, the main pool was very dangerous as it just went down so he couldn't swim in there as hot tubs just too ...

My partner booked this cruise as a gift. He booked a mini suite (with a balcony) and included the premium drinks package. The ship is old, tired and dirty. Completely inadequate for 2000 people to be able to spend time in the main deck. The only pool on the ship is tiny and dominated by splashing kids. The person on pool guard did not control this well. Most of the movies were catered to kids. A ...

Having been very spoilt on our first cruise with the Regal Princess, I guess I should have expected the standards to be heaps lower. The ship is old and rusty and having had a refurbishment 2 years ago I can't see where the money has gone. Our shower had 2 temperatures... hot as the sun and cold as ice. The toilet flushed occasionally and a few times my husband and I had to resort to using ...

Firstly I have to say that this is not our first cruise with P&O[ the others both 10 day cruises] So I do know that P&O can show their guests a great time on a great ship....unfortunately this was not the case with the Dawn. Embarkation was fairly quick and easy, then the smell hit us. Our cabin [a balcony...that's a laugh] was 10123 and the corridor leading down to it smelt disgusting ...

As our previous cruise with P & O was so enjoyable. This one was unpleasant cost a lot more, duty free was cheper in Australia. Don't travel with them. Not enough room in the comon areas for any type of entertainment. All shore excursions very expensive if you book on line shore tours at least 50% less. Very noisy are only ...

This was my second cruise. Maybe the bar had been set very high as my first was on the Disney Wonder and that was 5 star all the way. Boarding was easy and smooth. First hiccup was being greeted by 3 separate tables selling merchandise as soon as you are on board and a lot jam happening instantly as everyone purchased lanyards for their cards. Once clear we headed for out room. We were on deck 11 ...

Booked two Suite cabins #11117 and #11116 - Cabin was ok but a little dated - clean and reasonable size - bed was comfortable, but pillows cheap and hard. Cabin attendants were really good. When you book a suite with P&O you have no recognition or any worthwhile benefits at all and certainly don't feel like a VIP. They need to take note of what Royal Caribbean do for guests who book suite's. We ...

To allow my Son and friend to experience a cruise and paid good money each for a mini suite with sofa bed and two king singles. What we got was a fold up bed on wheels and two single beds. One bed had to have an extension which was a lower than mattress and padded with blue velvet pillows. So if you are over six feet tall you won't be comfortable. If you think anything was done about it you have ...
