Seabourn Sojourn - Not the Real Deal...

Review for a Asia Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

Having sailed on Silversea prior to this cruise, the standards were set pretty high. This was our first cruise with Seabourn and we were left rather dissapointed. There were some fine points and unfortunately far too many negatives for the amount of $$$ paid. The ship itself is very nice and cosy, clean and well maintained and spacious given the low number of guests onboard. Our Suite was ...

Sojourn Service Reigns Supreme!

We have been on many cruises on a number of other lines, but never on Seabourn. We have wanted to try them and this itinerary provided us this opportunity for the time period we wanted to vacation at a cost we felt was reasonable for a luxury product. From the moment we reached the cruise terminal until we disembarked, we were wowed by the thoughtful, personal service and unexpected small ...

The Seabourn Experience

My wife and I undertook our 5th cruise on Seabourn, this time on Sojourn to Myanmar where we spent 4 days and 3 nights. The cruise was excellent in every respect. We have travelled on Silversea, Oceania, Cunard, Princess and Crystal, and in my opinion Seabourn clearly has the edge. I was able to order a plate of caviar whenever I wanted one ( which was quite often) and the service at meals was ...

A High Standard in All Areas

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We have cruised many times, but this was our first Seabourn cruise. We chose it primarily for the ports which included Middle East, India, Thailand ending in Singapore. It was not that Seabourn was mind blowing at every level, but rather it was very good at every level be it service, food, boarding or indeed any area. Our balcony cabin may have been slightly larger than on the average cruise boat ...

Adieu and Farewell

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

I had great cruises on the Pride and the Legend, however i am not happy at all on the 3 biggers sisters as they provide a complete other product as the original. First of all it seems impossible for SB to verify a passengers history for the allocation of cabins booked on gurantee bas; On a level 16 i did receive the worsest cabin on board , after some complaints finally a V1 was assigned. ...

It's not perfect, but pretty close.

Having sailed a year ago on the small ship (Seabourn Spirit) I got spoiled into thinking that it is possible to have a feeling of cruising on a yacht even though I am on a cruise ship. With that in mind, sailing on a larger ship was something of a disappointment, but only by comparison to last year's cruise. First, I must say, it is one of the best vacations I've ever had. The ship is in ...

Excellent, with One Minor Complaint

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

I will deal with the minor complaint first. People hogging sun beds. This situation is not being dealt with, even after notices in the Herald. One couple in particular, at one time had two loungers on deck 9, and on deck 10, a table, four chairs and two more loungers. They were seen on some days to have a whole corner of deck 10 containing table, four chairs and four loungers. They would ...

Seabourn is not the same

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

It is painful to write this review, but the loss of the three smaller 'sister' ships coupled with the change in corporate ownership of Seabourn have had a very negative impact on the overall quality, in our view. After more than a dozen Seabourn cruises starting in 2003, we are sad to say we will not return to these larger - and quite different, in terms of services and intimacy - 'Odyssey class' ...

Seabourn is not cheap, but a great holiday.

Seabourn really do exceed your expectations. Nearing 100 nights on Seabourn one does wonder if the next cruise will be as good as the last one. Well it was. From the moment we were met by Paulo on the dockside who warmly welcomed us to the last day of farewells Seabourn Sojourn made you feel special and part of the family. The itinerary in the Med was excellent, the stewardess first ...

Excellent Seabourn Cruise

This is our third cruise with Seabourn and I have to say we were not disappointed. From check-in until the end of the cruise it was the normal Seabourn care and efficiency. It was lovely to meet people from all over the world as fellow passengers - all intent on enjoying Seabourn. Cabin - We had a cabin on Deck 5, we were a little worried about the 'part metal balcony' but it made absolutely ...
