This was our first Celebrity cruise having taken Carnival and Princess in the past. We had a concierge verandah cabin that I have to say was very nice. The over the bed storage a little hard to access and organize but roomy and the balcony big especially compared to princess. The best part was the modern bathroom with a closing shower door and plenty of storage space. Getting on and off the ship ...
We were told by our cruise planner to arrive for boarding by noon at the latest "to avoid long lines". We arrived at the ship at 11:40 and did not embark until 1:20. There were several sections with 4 employees at each, registering passengers. The line we were directed to only had 2 employees in that section. To add insult to injury, cruise staff were directing people from the Captains Club to ...
We loved almost everything about the cruise. We upgraded to Aqua Class, and overall it was worth the additional cost. We didn't use the Persian Garden at all, but only because every minute was full of either food or activity. The food in Blu alone was worth the cost, but when you add on the early boarding (LOVED THIS) and the bathroom products (and that shower.....) it was a wonderful ...
Bar nearest theatre on Deck 4 only had one bartender. There should have been two bartenders at this bar, like most of the other bars.
Food was usually good, but the duck in the main dining room was under cooked an fatty.
Service in the main dining room was generally very good, but at times slow.
We enjoyed the Lawn Grill for lunch and we were able to eat while watching a wedding take ...
We went on the Celebrity Reflection Western Caribbean on 2/14/17. We had an aft sky suite. The room was great. It had a wraparound balcony and the room was a great size. We also had a large round window in the room too. The suites came with premium beverage package, free wifi, free gratuities and a $300 OBC. We had a butler who was great. All we did was call him for anything we wanted ...
The Reflection has the best cabins. Showers that actually have room in them, with shower doors that close and don't leak water all over! Drawers in the bathroom, great for makeup etc. Balcony seemed larger than on most ships. Food was standard Celebrity food, much better than Princess and Carnival! We have already booked another cruise on the Reflection. We had Cabin 6219 which was close ...
We opted for this cruise as our second ever, having once taken an Alaska cruise on a slightly down-market line and wanting a higher level of food, drink and service. We found our balcony cabin roomy, comfortable and well designed despite being in the smallest category. The bed was extremely comfortable and the blackout curtains very effective. Cabin service was superb. Shore excursions were ...
We enjoyed our time on the Reflection in every respect except for an issue with the tendering back to the ship after a stop in Grand Cayman. Several ships were in port and the local tender providers were somewhat overwhelmed by numbers. A long line developed to return to the ship. I think the Reflection officers were slow in reacting and dropping more ship's tenders to deal with the backlog. Apart ...
We had a very good time on our cruise. We found the tendency to "save" chairs on the pool deck rather amusing and then annoying. (We are up early and not lovers of the hot afternoons, so not really a big issue for us). But Chairs would be saved but empty for hours on end, which is usually not considered acceptable on other cruise lines. Many cruisers would "pride themselves" on saving a sun and ...
We are Celebrity fans and the Reflection lived up to our expectations of this cruise line. The ship is clean & well-maintained, and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The food in the main dining room is quite good.
We ate at the Lawn Club the first night and for us, it was not as enjoyable as most of the other specialty restaurants. Though the food was good, it was focused on pizza and ...
