We chose this cruise so we could experience European life and its history. We were not disappointed, as we saw many historic sites and would like to do another cruise to this part of the world. Our overall experience, on and off ship, was incredible. The newer ship was a welcome upgrade from the previous Princess ships we have experienced, and though being relatively new, was familiar with our ...
We chose this cruise because of the region (ports) and Princess based upon reviews, particularly the quality of the dining experience, which did not disappoint This was our first cruise on Princess and were extremely pleased. We have cruised on other lines 7 times. Although we would still cruise the other lines (as I am in April because 25 family/friends are going and I'm tagging along), we ...
We love the Princess Cruise Line and this Ship, the Regal Princess was incredible!
A Beautiful decorated ship and very functional and eye appealing.
The food was diverse and wonderful and our waiters at our Dinner time were Very knowable, polite and Fun!
All the Entertainment was fabulous !!! We even saw the Beatle Maniacs.
Super singers and dancers entertained us while cruising the ...
Overall a solid 11-day Baltic cruise where we made lots of good memories, with some minor quibbles. My main advice: DO NOT get a cabin on the Emerald Deck above the Princess Theater. You WILL hear bass rumbling through your cabin at midnight. Also, watch out for pickpockets, they struck twice during our trip!
SHIP
Regal Princess is beautiful. It's more low-key compared to Royal ...
Let's get the good out of the way first...huge closets, lots of storage space, beautiful ship in pristine condition, better food in standard dining rooms than most cruise lines and exquisite food in the specialty (add-on cost) restaurants.
However, imagine being asked to pay $59.99 per person per day for a beverage package, $29.99 per day for multiple internet devices, shore excursions more ...
This was our second Princess cruise. We had enjoyed our first one and the itinerary on this one was perfect. We didn't want too many days at sea so only 3 sea days and lots of interesting cities was perfect for us. Luckily this time it stuck to the itinerary (last time we didn't make it into a port due to weather) so we got to visit everywhere we wanted (except Berlin but that was our ...
Chose this cruise due to the inclusion of Oslo and our ability to embark in Berlin. We wanted to spend more time visiting Berlin than Copenhagen. With Berlin not being the primary starting point our embarkation was easy with so many less people.
The ports were amazing but several needed to be longer by several hours. We did several private tours as they were a much better deal tailored to ...
We did quite a bit of research in selecting our Baltic Sea cruise because we are not frequent big ship cruisers. We chose Princess over several other lines because it seemed to offer more of what appealed to us. We are a mature couple who enjoy a little special treatment, a variety of shows, and a quiet place to relax at times. We chose a Mini Suite that included Club Class dining privileges, ...
This was our first ever cruise, so I write this with the upfront disclaimer that we have nothing to compare it to other than non-cruise vacations. We can, however, tell you some things our research didn't uncover that we'd have liked to know in advance and other first-timers might appreciate.
We chose this specific cruise because: (a) the itinerary covered all of the ports we wanted to visit; ...
A lot of good aspects were offset by them moving 1 of our rooms. We reserved 2 rooms that were close together and we specified that we did not want upgrades and wanted our rooms together. They did not notify us that they moved one room to th eopposite end of the boat. When we identified the error their response was that we signed an agreement stating they had the right to move us at their whim. ...
