The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Left out of Miami, Arrived the day before Stayed at Comfort Suites near the Airport. The terminal was a little confusing. We drove there and parked across from Royal Caribbean.Porters were confusing as to where to go in. Apparently in Miami folks don't get up and get off the ship. So we had to wait to board. They even get off the ship as late at 10:30. I was surprised...We were permitted to check ...

***DETAILED REVIEW OF MY EXPERIENCE: I sailed on the EOS from July 22nd to July 25th with my family (Mom 49, dad 53, sister 30, brother 14, my girlfriend 30 and myself 28) from Miami, we arrived one day before and we stayed at the RESIDENCE INN MIAMI AIRPORT, in a familiar suite, the hotel is very nice, it includes basic breakfast and is not expensive, around 250 Usd for all of us, its only 3 ...

First let me state that there were 13 in our group. This was a family cruise to celebrate a 45th anniversary. We had a Junior Suite, #8134. Embarkation: This did not go as planned. Usually we are onboard quickly and with little to no waiting. This day someone (this is second hand knowledge) evidently "forgot" they had ammunition in the backpack they were bringing onboard. Needless to say ...

We live in driving distance to the port of Miami, so that is what we did, luggage drop off was a breeze, parking in the port garage was easy . $20. per day. Embarkation had been delayed that day for some reason unbeknown to us, there was quite a long line to board the ship, it moved fairly well. Beautiful Ship, wonderful crew.Nice itinerary. The only thing that may have improved the cruise ...

This was my first cruise, so I don't really have a basis of comparison, but I enjoyed it enough to be planning my next cruise. The atmosphere was lovely. I did not feel the need to dress up everyday but people weren't slumming around in sweats either. Our cabin attendant was way more attentive then you'll ever get on land but we only got a towel animal once so I feel a little cheated. The ...

First time ever with Royal so we were pretty excited. The ship is very nice. The embarkation process was very easy and fast (real surprised). Once we got on the ship we were welcomed by daycare staff who immediately explained the process and gave my youngest a wristband being that she's less than 12, however my older kids 14 and 17 had to share a camp (it was 12 to 17) which we found weird because ...

Best of the three cruises that do the three day trip to Bahamas out of Miami

I went on this particular cruise for a friends bachelor party. The reason I rate it a a four versus a three is I had an amazing time with my friends, but I have done this exact same cruise on NWC and Carnival so in cruising destinations it is a three to me. My experience was nothing different between the others. To be honest now that I have done all 3 cruises I probably would go on whatever ...

Family gathering. We have been on cruises with Viking. This is not a Viking cruise. You get what you pay for period. The drinks were great, the service was very good . The food was of poor Quality. Not because of the preparation but the ingredients. The crab cakes were 90% filler, the bacon was inedible, the so called fruit at breakfast was only melons - no berries no strawberries, ...

After booking this cruise, I started seeing some negative reviews concerning the age of the ship, etc., so I was a little apprehensive that maybe I had made a mistake choosing this ship as our first cruise. I need not have worried. Yes, the ship is a little dated, but it did not interfere with our cruise experience. We could not have been happier with the staff, the cleanliness of our ...
