The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

My best friends of 10 years wanted to take a little "mom-cation" and thought a cruise would be our best option for us. All three of us (27 years old) have cruised before, two of us on Royal Caribbean (I had gone on the Liberty, my friend on the Oasis), and this cruise lined up perfectly with our travel dates. Our overall goal was to spend time together and sleep (we all have wakeful babies) and I ...

We are a couple in our 50s and this was our 19th cruise, 7th with RCCL, and 2nd time on this ship. We booked this as a quick getaway to feed our cruising addiction between longer booked cruises. We live close to the port and so just drove in the day of the embarkation. We parked in the terminal parking lot knowing it was more expensive than off site parking, but needed to do so because I had ...

We are typically All-inclusive resort travelers when going to the Caribbean. After being convinced by family and friends to try a cruise we decided on this short cruise just in case my wife or I had problems with sea sickness (which both of us have had in the past). The port experience was good, smooth transition to the ship. No complaints here only praise. When we entered the ship I ...

We arrived on time and were allowed to board right away. As the cabins were not ready until 1:30, everyone had to handle their luggage and were everywhere. Not good! It would be best to do as other lines, not allow passengers onboard until cabins are ready. While there were some issues you have to give the staff and crew credit for their efforts. The ship is ready for a overhaul..yet the ...

How people can give a bad review of sailing on the open sea, I don't know, unless the ship sinks. We were a party of 11 and I don't think any of us had a bad experience. The only negative I can think of (and it wasn't as much a negative as a slight inconvenience) is that there was a Bluegrass Music Convention scheduled the same week as our cruise, therefore, half of the passengers were probably ...

We have been on over 25 cruises but this is just our third with RCCL. We were spending 5 full days at Walt Disney World prior to the cruise so we were really looking at relaxing. This trip was just for my husband, myself and our 20 year old daughter. Our driver at our hotel (Dolphin) was a no show so we had to Uber from to the port ($121.00), this put us at the port about 12:30 so we missed ...

My party: 3 people, aged mid 40's to mid 70's Pre-cruise history: We have been on over a dozen cruises, nearly all with Royal Caribbean (RC). We set this cruise up in October through our travel agent, like we always do. A week later, we tried to pull the cruise up on RC's website, but constantly got "there's an error, try again later". We called many times, only to hear "we don't know ...

A 4-night cruise is, apparently, not for me.

I have been on two cruises over the past year (one 7 night to the Caribbean and one 12 night to the Panama Canal). I had such a good time, I wanted my husband to have the experience too. Every time I told him what I liked about cruising, he would say, "That just does not sound like fun to me." I came up with the brilliant idea to introduce him to cruising with a shorter cruise. BIG MISTAKE. A ...

To start and be fair my wife and I both own our own business and only get about 5 days a year where we can take a vacation in total. We get several weekend getaways but usually work during those so this cruise was our only getaway from it all since October 2014. First let me say the staff aboard the Enchantment of the Seas was phenomenal. Never waited long for drinks, ship was clean, room was ...

Reading some of these negative reviews, I am wondering what fantasy land of self absorbed entitlement these folks expect. If you want to be treated like a Saudi billionaire, be one. Otherwise you're paying a couple grand to be treated WAY better than spending the same staying on land in a hotel, swimming in murky ocean on an over crowded, brown sand beach, paying to park your car after fighting ...
