Royal Caribbean always has treated us like we were special. Prices are fair and service is great. Some ports of call are not the best but overall everything is fine. Two ports were in a more commercial like area rather than tourist spots but they were still ok. The ship is small, which we like. The employees are gracious and always ready to assist in any way they can. Boarding and disembarking at ...
We're a couple in our mid- to late-30's, have cruised Royal 5 times now and have been on Norwegian, Princess, and Carnival in the past.
This ship leaves the Baltimore cruise port, one of my favorites. It's so easy to get in, park, and get on the ship in a short time period. We showed up around 11:30, and didn't have to wait at all to park and only waited about 20 minutes for security and ...

Our 12-night sailing on Grandeur of the Seas was exactly what we needed - a break from what passes for winter in the Mid-Atlantic and from the normal home chores. Royal ...
we chose this ship and cruise because family and friends were going. We have never cruised before, so we were first time cruisers and were real excited to finally go on one. This boat first of all was in need of a refresh - torn upholstery everywhere, dated furnishings in the staterooms, not clean, food preparation did not include HEAT (everything served lukewarm and not hot or fresh). Could ...
Older ship, hasn't been updated in a while=necessary
Ports of call aren't bad until you see where you are docked=Orlando=terminal with no shops, food, wi-fi; and the closest are 1-1&1/2 miles away-may be better for RCL to sell tours, but does nothing for passengers who want to get out on their own. Bahamas=only the shops close by.
Dining presented a problem. On the second day we received a ...
This review is slightly off-base from my normal reviews. This is my first solo cruise ever and probably my last, but through no fault of Royal Caribbean for the most part. Also, this is my second time on the Grandeur of the Seas. The first time was New Years eve 2014-2015 and that ended up being my top cruise contender of all time. So, the bar was set high for her to ...
We initially chose this cruise based on price.
After going on the cruise, I would definitely pick it based on the service you get from the staff.
Always smiling and extremely attentive to your needs.
Airy and Toni were exceptional waiters in the Gatsby Dining Room (level 5).
Unfortunately due to weather we were unable to do our last port of call in Cocoa Cay, Bahamas. We ended up ...
We have sailed on RC 4 times. We opted for this 12-day cruise to escape from PA winter weather. The negatives - the lifeboat drill was pathetic. Could not hear the instructions, could not see the demonstration. If there had been an emergency where lifeboats were needed, it would have been chaos. Dress code - Other passengers did not adhere to the dress code on board. The result was many were ...
This was my second time on the Grandeur and it was better than the first. We live in Baltimore so getting to and from the port was a breeze. We left Baltimore a few hours late due to the weather and I would rather be safe and comfortable. Our room steward Ricardo was great. The 2nd day of the cruise was Valentine's Day and my boyfriend proposed at Chops with a little help from the staff. Our ...
We wanted to take time to decompress before scuba diving in the Caribbean so we selected a cruise that would give us ample as sea time to relax. We left the port 4 hours late and then had a medical emergency on board the first day at sea which required the ship to steam toward land to meet a Coast Guard helicopter. It was quite the start.
Overall, I believe that Royal Caribbean has been ...
