Background Information
This was our 14th Princess cruise (22nd overall). We've previously sailed on sister ships Royal, Regal, and Sky. We booked this to replace one of our cancelled pandemic cruises (working toward Elite status) and to try Majestic for the first time since being redeployed from Asia.
Travel to Embarkation Port
We actually spent 4 nights at Disneyland prior to 2 nights ...
It was a great cruise and we really enjoyed the Majestic. It was our second time on the Majestic and just as good as the first time. Food was so good!! We only ate in the MarketPlace The food on Princess has really improved during the Covid break. I know lots of people don't like the buffet but that's the only place we eat and have not been disappointed.
I wish I could get the recipe ...
I'm guessing that some cruisers are reluctant to cruise just yet, with the need to get a COVID antigen test within 2 days of embarkation and then wearing masks on board. So what I got for my willingness to do these was a 40% capacity ship - I've never cruised on such a lightly populated cruise ship ever. What a beautiful cruise ship no less! The Majestic Princess is the only Princess ship that has ...
Plenty of places to spend quality time with love one in the ship. Medallion make it easy to order drink from every part of the ship.
Health, Safety & Environment have scored very high.
Excellent Front Desk guest services
Food was good (buffet can be improved) but the stuff were excellent and would walk extra miles to make you feel at home
Cabin cleaners have excellent manner & ...
The opportunity to cruise again was welcome after the pandemic episode. We were more than ready to travel. The cruise schedule was just right for that
As to dining, it would have been nicer to have hotter food available in the Marketplace dinning area. Even the oatmeal was tepid. I found the dinning room food to be more to my liking, served hot and on heated plates.
The onboard ...
Totally enjoyed this ship. We only ate in the main dining room in the evening. The food was outstanding. Many good choices. The service was also great!
The Buffet also had many choices and everything we tried was excellent.
The ship was very plush. Up scale look from other brands.
Outside decks were also good looking.
Would enjoy Princess in the future.

We came off the Carnival Panorama 3 weeks before this cruise so it was interesting to compare the two ships. Both cruises were to the Mexican Riviera and the ships are a similar size.
Embarkation: Embarkation was super fast. Princess's medallion technology goes a long way to help this process. The medallion is essentially an RFID chip (similar to a transponder) which when accessed, gets all ...
This cruise was actually a Christmas present from 2019 from my parents for me and my husband (along with 6 other people in our group who cam along) that kept getting rescheduled due to COVID. While a little nervous back on a boat for the first time in 3-4 years, the ship was super clean and the staff was great. Being only about 30-40% full, the boat never felt crowded, but there was still always ...
Horrible customer service. Princess lies to me twice about a charge onboard being removed and then I spent 6+ hours on the phone on hold trying to get someone at Princess to care. Nope.
NEVER sailing Princess again and I recommend all avoid their absolutely fake and laughable 'excellent" customer service.
Liars and bullies. I'd refuse to pay, but they have my credit report held captive. ...
My third cruise with Princess. They got it right this time. This is the first cruise I have had with Princess that I did not feel nickled and dimed to death. I enjoyed it so much I booked the same itinerary for March of 22.
The ship was half full. The staff was exemplary. The only thing I had to complain about was Princess itself, not the ship or the staff. That infernal Princess Medallion App ...
