MSC Seaside is tops !

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Seaside

This was my fourth time on the Seaside . Each time has been a great experience. I’ve already booked it for February. Let me be clear about the passengers before going on about the cruise . The makeup is mostly foreign with I’d say only about 30% American. The environment of the ship is culturally different . Manners and politeness are often missing . Cabin : The size more than adequate ...

Caribbean Nightmare

Staff at reception were completely inept. We paid for our bill near the end of our trip using a prepaid Visa and the payment was taken, but for some reason it was not registering on MSC'S end. The reception kept telling us that we did not pay our balance and wouldn't settle the charges until we made another payment. We ended up settling the balance in cash although the original balance was already ...

Major safety problems.

choose the cruise for the itinerary. And I thought the European ambiance would be fun. Turns out this is not a cruiseline that caters to Americans. The service and demeanor of crew is not what Americans will expect--a lot of waiting, no adherence to lines, rudeness among crew. Also had major security/safety issues: They didn't have enough staff to patrol the long lines to everything, and there ...

My boyfriend and I were so excited to vacation on this beautiful ship, we spent a lot of time and money planning this vacation and the outcome was rather disappointing. POSITIVES: Awesome room attendant Filzon, who remembered our names, greeted us, kept our cabin tidy several times a day and catered to our liking of fresh ice :)! We also loved the shows, adult comedy was our favorite, SO FUNNY! ...

Background This was my 80th cruise overall, with most of them being on Celebrity in the past, followed by Royal Caribbean, Princess, Holland America, Cunard and Carnival. We found an incredible offer back in February on this 7-day cruise and could not pass it up. My partner and I went and traveled with a close friend of ours who booked a solo cabin. Pre-Cruise We started our journey in ...

We took 7-nights from 8-17 to 8-24 Eastern Caribbean Cruise. After getting in line for our original Aurea Experience spa balcony room with priority embarkation, we were pulled out of line and taken to The Yacht Club lounge for embarkation because we had submitted a bid for an upgrade and found out we got it right then. WOW. We never expected it, but it was so wonderful. The private Yacht Club ...

First, we have been on three MSC cruises so far. This is the second time on Seaside. Originally tried MSC due to the price and have found that it offers most everything that lines like Carnival and Royal Caribbean offer at a much better price. Did Seaside for a second time as I felt that it would be a very good, fun cruise for my boys, 13 and 15, to do for there first cruise. It was. They ...

Lots to talk about here but will keep it simple. Embarkation was the nicest and quickest process I have EVER had on a cruise line. Quick lines and a decent waiting area. They were immediately asking for boarding groups 1 and 2 about 30 minutes of being inside the seating area. Walk on was beautiful! Seaside wins hands down as the nicest ship I have ever seen for decor. Day 1 and the sail away ...

A Long Way To Go

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seaside

This is our 3rd cruise on MSC. First one was on the Divina and the last two on the Seaside. The ships are beautiful and children’s prices make it affordable. From that point on everything else goes downhill. I started the meet and greet and it was run by MSC very nicely. Problems- we booked a year ago and requested the middle dinner time at 7:15 pm. We had 4 cabins linked together and we are all ...

The ship and the price are the primary reason for choosing MSC. Embarkation was very smooth, we had the Aurea experience so there was priority boarding. We were on the ship before noon and went straight to the kiosk to link credit card to ship card. Then went to the spa to schedule our Aurea massages. Scheduled for the first sea day. Massages were awesome. We went to the thermal spa daily. Ship ...
