"You'll notice this type of marketing throughout the cruise, and if you didn't know about it beforehand you might wonder why the people at the next table can have soup AND an appetizer with entree during their specialty dining experience, and you cannot,.Having sailed many different cruise lines over the years and recently on five cruises since the ships started sailing again, there are a few things that I'd like to see MSC look towards changing:
- Get rid of that hybrid muster drill...."Read More
The crew were very polite, the food was not bad either, and our cabin was kept clean! That is the nice thing I have to say about the cruise! Rather than that it was an expensive cheap cruise. The ship was croweded, you had to search for launge chairs to sit, you had to stay in lines for everything, from the hot tub to entering the restaurant. The worst thing was their internet packages. I believe ...
This was our first and last experience sailing with MSC. In all honesty, the problems began far before we even boarded the ship. Their website is horrible. Their customer service phone lines were just as bad. Getting answers from anybody varied depending on who you got to answer the phone that day. It took me multiple phone calls just to book an excursion. Several more phone calls to change the ...
I have been on many cruises and several cruise lines and this was the worst. I will never do MSC again. Most of the staff was rude. The man at the service desk was rude and came back at me when I told him this is the worst cruise I’ve been on. They were not nice to the kids.
The sheets on the bed had little balls all over, and the pillows were horrible. The bathroom was so tiny that if ...
I was on the same ship last August. It was not very good, Food and drinks ran out all the time, the food both quality and quantity was bad and I am not fussy with food. But I am extremely pleased and happy to tell you food in the buffet has improved so very much that I thought I was in a different ship and very seldom ran out of things any more. MSC finally got it. Same with the seafood ...
This cruise line is terrible. Boat is over crowded , kids running and fighting in the adult only sections. If is days adult only, enforce it. I understand kids will be on a cruise, but there are adult only areas for a reason. Private Island stop is cancelled because the captain can’t dock the boat. It’s currently 82degs clear skies and a 12 mph wind so all excursions and the trip to the private ...
Great time. The staff was nothing short of incredible. Randolph was our waiter at dinner. We never wanted for anything. Can’t say enough good things about him. He took the time to talk to us, make recommendations, give us tips and tricks to improve our stay, and became an adopted member of our family by the end of the trip.
Rudy was our cabin steward. He noticed that I had a CPAP machine and ...
First cruise for my wife and I. We had the best vacation of our life! Met some really great people Amazing staff. Special shout out to Deon and Dennis in back at the horizon bar!! Always ready to do anything for you. Horizon bar was our go to for sure. Great views being in the back outside. And great beverages. Boat is absolutely beautiful. And huge. The private island Ocean Cay was absolutely ...
Embarkation:
Check-in was fast and MSC workers courteous, except one New Yorker port worker at security (but I'm a Texan in New York). We had a 10-10:30 am check-in time. After a subway and a bus, we arrived just a few minutes after 10am, dropped our luggage, and then we had to show passport and boarding passes before entering the security. After security was check-in, getting a boarding card, ...
This was our first time sailing on MSC and in Yacht Club. We are very experienced cruisers - NCL Haven, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Windstar, Seabourn, and Holland America. Yacht Club was an exceptional experience. The staff on board are incomparable. They are kind, efficient, gracious and helpful. Embarkation was speedy and seamless. The food in the Yacht Club restaurant is incredible and the ...
The ship was overbooked and you had to wait in line for everything.
You had to wait in line to used the spas and you had 10 minutes maximum allowed in it.
The trip from NYC to Port Canaveral is really bumpy. A lot of passengers were seasick and you could smell the vomit while walking on the ship.
Our room was not well clean as you can see in the pictures.
I found some disgusting ...
