Cabin: Stateroom with French balcony and outside balcony

Well I could tell you so much but will try and keep it relevant to the AmaCerto and the route we took. We did the Blue Danube Discovery from Budapest to Nuremburg but as we are from the UK we made our own travel arrangements so did not stay in Budapest or do the Prague extension.

Arrival / Check In

Very smooth, members of the crew met our taxi and took our luggage straight to our cabin. At check in they provide you with plenty of reading material so that they don't have to blind you will all the details at once. This gives you chance to go through the schedule, how things works, times, payment etc. They asked you to lodge a credit card with reception but as we were paying cash they didn't require one. They do not however take Mastercard Travellers Cash Passport cards it has to be a card with your name on it.

Cabin Review

Stateroom with French balcony and outside balcony

Cabin BB

Cabin 206 on the AmaCerto is the first cabin in the twin balacony category and is more than enough to upgrade to. Plenty of space, you cannot hear the engines or the public areas. In fact if we go next time we will just upgrade to the french balcony as the walk out balcony is nice but not really necessary. It is 210 sq feet and we liked the fact that we were closer to the water than the bigger cabins above us. Sometimes we could hear the shower running in the cabin above but it was very easy to nap in the afternoons or sleep in. Beds are very comfortable and cabin catered for everythign we needed.
