Cabin: Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom

We enjoyed our time on the Enchantment of the Seas. We found the ship to be in pretty good shape. It will soon go into dry dock and some of the drapery and carpets will be replaced. Our cabin was an outside stateroom and there was plenty of storage space for the two of us. The bathroom shower was very small but the water pressure and temperature were perfect. Our bed springs were squeaky with very little movement. we never heard noise from the hallway or other room.

The food was overall very good with the exception of the desserts which were just okay. There were times when it was difficult to find an open spot to eat in the Windjammer for breakfast. We liked the breakfasts eaten in the dining room and found it less rushed and noisy. We ate one dinner in Chops and our food was very good. We were the only ones eating at 8:30 pm that night in this specialty restaurant. Thus, we had one to one service. We have been on other ships and believe that the french fries served in the Solarium were the best prepared. Coffee was inconsistently brewed ranging from very weak most days to bitter on one occasion.

The ports of call were good and we had enough time to explore the various areas. We were independent tourists. We did book a private tour in St John which met our expectations. We took the Island Explorer to Acadia park in Bar Harbor and found that to be a great way to explore the area. We walked all over Halifax and while in Portland we used their free shuttle and pedicab.

Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Cabin 2600 was perfectly situated nearby the mid elevators yet is quiet. The room is small but provides enough space for all of our items. The bathroom was small but the water in the shower never flowed out to the floor. The bed could be more comfortable and the springs squeaked.
