We were very excited to sail on the Riviera. Check- in for our Concierge Class cabin was a breeze followed by a leisurely lunch at the Terrace Cafe. Cabins are small, as expected, but the bathroom is much more luxurious than other lines we have sailed. Our luggage appeared promptly and our room steward came to introduce herself as soon as we arrived.
Dining was the best part of the cruise! The main dining room is gorgeous and the four specialty restaurants served interesting, delicious food. The public spaces are comfortable - especially the library and Spa Deck. Service everywhere on the ship is superb.
There was not much in the way of night life on the Riviera once the evening show ended. The passengers were much older than we anticipated and everywhere you looked there were motorized scooters, canes and walkers. Several times my husband had to assist guests who were struggling with steps on excursions.
Just a few steps to the concierge lounge which we used often. Near laundry. Nice balcony. Very quiet location.
