I just returned from a spring break cruise the first week of April on the 4-day Majesty of the Seas cruise to the Bahamas. Our party included myself and my husband in our "extreme late 40's" and two teenage girls (ages 15 & 16) in a separate cabin. This was our third RCI cruise and my 8th cruise overall.

As on most RCI ships (see the current Cruise Critic service poll where RCI ships dominate), the cabin and dining service was great. The cruise staff with Parker as the cruise director looked older and experienced and sure knew how to get everyone to have fun at the late night group events. The food was certainly adequate (see below). The entertainment was very good with an excellent mix of large song/dance shows, comedy, and cruise passenger group fun. Yes, the cabins are small (I believe they're the smallest on the seas), but we should know how little that matters. We had to spend a lot of time in ours due to the lousy weather, and it was just fine. My strong recommendation is to pay the $25 per person extra and get the outside cabin. Having the large window does trick the mind into thinking it's larger, especially since the bed is made up with the length running parallel to the window, leaving more floor space. We liked the natural light waking us up in time to see the nearly deserted ship at dawn.

I recommend this cruise highly for these types:
