On arrival we didn't have time to go onshore but explored the ship and then showered and changed for our evening meal and visit to a lounge.

Barbados

St. Martin

Thomson organised. Tour was in an open-sided bus.

First part of tour was spent grinding up side of a mountain in first gear and seeing nice beaches far in the distance.

Visited Cockleshell Beach but again too short a time to fully relax. 

Ended up at Pusser's Landing which is basically just a Marina  - ok for the guys with nice yachts and boats but not very interesting.

Guide was ok but he sat apart from us in the front of hos jeep and the microphone/speaker was too shrill. Ok tour but not very exciting.

Tortola

Tour organised by us with Lawrence of Antigua.

Tour was very good. First surprise was that we were the only customers on the bus. The Dream was the only ship in port that day and I think the Americans are their main customers, booking online. Anyway Lawrence himself took us around and he was very good. 

We visited Nelson's Dockyard, the Interpretation Centre which was an excellent Video Presentation of the Island's History. Top notch!

We then spent time on Valley Church Beach but again wished we could have be there a bit longer.

A good tour but quiet without other passengers to share the buzz.

Antigua

This was on last day. No time on arrival day. Larger coach than previous trips which were all maximum of 12 persons. Lost a bit of intimacy IMHO. Visited Gun Hill Signal Station Then to St John's Church for a few pics of the bay below. Then to Sunbury Plantation House for a walk round nthe house itself followed by a buffet in the gardens. Food was ok and the Hot Pepper Sauce was the hottest thing I've ever had, Vindaloo's included. Couldn't taste the rum punch lol. Then dropped off at airport for flight home. Only 4 hours to wait:( Not very enjoyable. Should have booked an independent tour which included a beach stop e.g. Glory Tours but wife was worried about possibly missing the flight home!

Problem start when we discovered the ship had berthed at a different jetty from that expected. However with friendly advice and help from locals in the port we managed to reach the correct meeting place in time as they had waited 20 minutes for us after hearing about the ship being in different jetty. 
Tour was ok but we found St Kitts a little limited in interesting places apart from Brimstone Hill. The driver/guide was good but battled to maintain our

Best tour ever! Great driver/guide nicknamed "Mailman". He was so funny, generous (with his home brewed rum-punch and beers) and knowledgable. We went to an Iguana Park, fabulous Orient Beach (pity too short a time), then to Maho Beach and watched planes landing a few feet over our heads!! We ate super gateau in Sarafina's in Marigot Town. Bus was mainly Americans apart from us and we all had a great time. Thanks again Mailman.

Booked through Thomson. Very green and lush island. Made a nice change from the other more sparse vegetation. Visited the Hibiscus Falls and took some great photos. Then visited Mero Beach with its "black sand" - not really black but certainly not white like the others! Was pretty good and enjoyed it.
Driver/guide was ok. Thought tour seemed a little shorter than planned.

Our cabin was 7033 on Deck 7 and was an ouside standard cabin with rectangular porthole. Large comfortable double bed. New flatscreen tv. Maid service from Christina impeccable. Did a wonderful chimpanzee from towels and hung it up from a clothes hanger. Terrific! 

Close to stairs and lifts which was good. Not noisy and no vibration from engines.

Ship itself is getting on a bit but for a friendly, compact home from home with fantastic service and food from breakfast to supper with great shows from the entertainment team we couldn't fault it. roll on next cruise!

On our first cruise on the Celebration we had an inside cabin but hated waking up in port in a dark room so this time opted for an outside cabin with nice rectangular porthole.Suitcases were checked in and not seen again until they were delivered to our cabin in time to change for our first evening meal on board, a great idea.
