We have done about 15 cruises from Florida to Bahamas and Caribbean/Mexico. We wanted to try something different and since we are now retired we had the time to do this. Overall we were very happy with the experience and Celebrity. Their call center was very helpful with our reservations and got us a good airfare for our return to Florida. We found the ship, Equinox, to be very well cared for and clean.

Since this was a 15 day transatlantic crossing there would be plenty of time to spend on the ship. There was a lot of comfortable seating throughout the ship. When we cruise we only eat dinner in the specialty restaurants and the food and staff at Murano were wonderful. We also enjoyed Silk Harvest. We ate lunch twice in the dining room and the service was poor. Trying to get a drink refill was nearly impossible. Anything that was requested seemed to take a long time and multiple request. Food was ok. We ate at the buffet for lunch three times and found the selections and food quality and preparation unsatisfactory and not as good as we have had on Royal Caribbean or Disney. Bistro Cafe was a good alternative for lunch and breakfast, delicious crepes.

We seldom saw the ship's officers but the crew were helpful in all facets of the ship. I would say that many of the staff had strong accents and their English was difficult for us to understand. They did not have a "big" production in the theatre and we would have liked that. We brought our tablets and had lots to read many comfortable places to sit. Good food and service in the specialty restaurants, nice bed and bedding for a restful evening.

Concierge Class 3

We were on 9th deck. We squeezed into 190'. The room was in good condition. It was very quite we did not have any noise from adjourning rooms or hallway. The bedding was very nice. Attendant was very good and keep room neat and her visits were scheduled when we would not be disturbed.
