I dont' mind spending money; I just don't like wasting money. And I think I got a very good value on the Jewel to Alaska, departing from Seattle. The base price was almost too low for the quality of the experience. But I made up for it with Spa treatments, excursions, bar bills, gambling. BUT, that was my choice.

Did not use their speciality restaurants, I thought they were a waste of money. The food in regular was good and wait staff professional and attentive. Entertainment good enough, and their big show was fabulous, like Circus de Soli. Musical entertainment could have been better.

The ship was extremely well maintained and clean. A lot of emphasis on hand washing. My 'window' room was fine, a lot of storage space. The staff very nice and attentive, especially the two cruise directors, Matt and Patrick.
