We flew in the day before and spent the evening at the Radisson. Their pool the next morning was great fun, but the rooms need to be upgraded -- did not feel real clean. Sofa bed did not pull out, but the provided roll away beds -- for additional $10/bed. But the shuttle service from the airport and to the ship is excellent and customer service at Radisson is good. Just need to remodel

We left the hotel at 11;30 and had easy embarkation process. We were on board by around 12:15 and found some deck chairs. Then went to our rooms to drop stuff off and change into swim suits. We were able to get 3 adjacent staterooms 9076 and 9078 (connected) and 9080. All 3 had connecting balconies -- so the communication was easy. We (the grandparents in 9080) had the two young 7 year old grandsons -- with 2 great bunk beds. They were always set up while we were at dinner.

We ate at 2nd seating every night, although we had hoped for 1st seating. Worked out fine. They always served the children promptly and the food was excellent. Very impressed. Our table servers, led by Gilbert from Philippines, was superb. At the end of each dinner, he did magic tricks-- enthralling all of us. It was great eating at 3 different venues but keeping our friendly wait-staff. Especially liked the atmosphere of Animator's Palette -- with the smart talking turtle. The other meals (breakfast and lunch) were always good and never any long lines. Ice cream by the pool was always available and we were only 2 levels away. The two children's pool were too small and always crowded. Adult pool was nice, but we wanted to be with our family. We made it work. Kids loved the huge Aqua Duck ride -- live a water roller coaster (and they allow grandparents.
