This is our "home port", so we went to have lunch at our favourite restaurant.

Melbourne

The Tourism office was a short walk from the pier, so we went there and booked a double-decker bus tour around town. We enjoyed it. It was nice hearing the history of old Hobart.The ship also ported at Burnie, which is not listed under "select a port". We went to an arts and crafts shop selling wares by local artisans, a touristy place, where I was entranced by the papier mache artist's work. I also enjoyed watching the ladies spin yarn with their spinning wheels, and bought a hand-knitted scarf from one of them for my daughter.

I thought the food in the main dining room was good (I'm a vegetarian).Princess spoiled me for pizza, as their pizzeria on Dawn Princess makes delicious hand-made pizzas, and the pizza bar on Crown Princess makes quite good pizza, too.
