Let me Just start off by saying that i never write reviews, but i felt i just had to because MSC Fantasia Deserves a lot more Credit then it gets.We bought Our cruise before reading the reviews on cruise critic and the reviews had a lot of negative things said about it. It made me regret at first with booking with MSC but in all honesty I am so happy I did.
EMBARKATION: we Embarked in Bari,Italy and it went very Smooth. We had our luggages ready with our tags (that was given to us when booking online) Dropped it off with the luggage check in and was told to go to the Passenger Check in. we Checked in so Quickly without a long wait or long lines and was on the ship ten minutes after arriving at the port. So Fast and so easy.
ROOM: We had a Interior room or inside Cabin. We Looked at the rooms on MSCs website and thought it looked small, but the room is way Bigger than expected. We had our 5 month old Daughter with us. so we had a lot of stuff with us and it all fit in the Cabin and still had a lot of space:) she had her Pack n Play bed (which was Provided by the ship) and stroller out in the room and we still had walking room :) It Came with a Small fridge, safe and a lot of Closet space. The Television was also great and though there was just a few channels in english they always played some good tv shows! The inside cabins are also decorated beautifully and always kept clean by the Room Attendants. The Turn Down Service was always great and we never ran into them cleaning our room. We did always see them in the Hallways and they always made sure to greet us and tell us to have a great day!The Bonus was the Breakfast room service delivery. You get a new Card every night, Mark what you want to eat with the time you want it delivered and a fresh, free, delicious breakfast is delivered to your room every morning yum! The Shower is small so if you Have a Baby like us it may be a little difficult to bathe them. We just Brought a inflatable tub and bathed her in that. They also provide Big Canisters of Shampoo and Body wash that they make sure to keep full throughout your stay. So if you do not have to have a particular shampoo the ones provided in the Cabin is great and smells good!
