AMA Cello and crew were awesome. AMA offered three or four excursion options for each city; some walking, some bus and bicycling options. They were very flexible as to which one you took right up to the minute you walked off the ship. They ran all excursions even if only a few people signed up. Twice we were on large bus with English speaking guide and only three other people. Our transportation to the airport was large bus, help with luggage both at ship and airport for on 24 Euros.

Entertainment at night fun and relaxed; not big productions but very enjoyable. Food very good. Two espresso/latte machines on board that were available 24 hours at no cost. Wine served with meals complimentary. Bar drinks other times reasonably priced. Internet complimentary with available terminal in room and wifi throughout the ship. Not the fastest speed I've ever seen, but significantly better than large cruise ships.

Our trip was the Rhine Christmas market from Basel to Amsterdam. It was the first time I've been to European Christmas markets. They are very enjoyable; good local food and drink and lots of handmade Christmas gifts to buy. Some factory made stuff displayed but that's easy to pass by. Read more
