"Baldur was the god of light and joy". This ship was aptly named. My sister and I felt full of joy as we cruised along the rivers from Budapest to Amsterdam. We were so comfortable and so well looked after by Niko, Igor, Korana, Victoria, chef Alexander, and all the rest of the crew including Roberta, Roy, Johnny, Edwin, that we felt special and spoilt.

The shore excursions were well planned and we were able to do as much or as little as we wanted. We were disappointed with the Kinderdijk tour and would rather have had a tour of Amsterdam.

All onboard entertainment was great and there were some wonderful special entertainers at times (e.g. the glassblower, the opera singers and the gypsy musicians).

Cabin Review

Cabin French Balcony

Compact but well designed and perfectly comfortable. Wish it could be organised to include a couple of chairs -- perhaps beds that fold up during the day? Still the lounge and the sundeck provided plenty of pleasurable views.
