My itinerary started in Athens (Piraeus) on 27 MAY and ended in Venice on JUNE,2 . It is always very exciting to cruise on a brand new ship and I couldn’t wait to get on board. Unfortunately I had some troubles with embarkation procedure but I’ll skip the details. It was quite unpleasant 3-hour waiting at Piraeus cruise terminal because of someone’s fault but ship’s staff together with my colleagues of travel agency made their utmost to solve the problem as quickly as possible. Special thanks to Gianluca of Regal Princess – he was very kind with me and took my troubles pretty seriously. Otherwise embarkation was well organized and everybody (but me) was in good mood.

Basically, I knew what to expect on board but new is always bringing surprises and I very much hoped they would be pleasant. Indeed, what I saw largely brought me pleasant feelings. Starting with my balcony cabin, it was roomy enough, full of light and very nicely designed so that guests could feel comfortable and safe while on board. That’s valid in full for all public areas as well. The restaurants, bars, atrium, theatre, SPA-center, even corridors – all these areas were in beige-brown hue, wearing style, comfort and relaxation. No bright and challenging designs were noticed. I am 56 and that kind of interior suits me best.

I was also quite excited by the on-board day & night entertainments. The Canadian comedian who performed a 45-minute show full of improvisation and great humor was definitely the best!.

Cabin Review

Roomy, very well designed, comfortable bed and chairs, bathroom is perfect.
