Sail Date: May 2014

SeaDream 1 was long anticipated to be the ultimate Baltic cruise, after reading so many positive reviews about the crew, service, food, atmosphere and intimacy. It did deliver on those topics, five star all the way.

It was the many small and large problems that occurred almost daily and the lack of response, apology or amends by management that disappointed us, our friends and many of the 100 guests on board this June from Hamburg to Stockholm. The ship had just left drydock so the interiors were freshly redecorated and the staterooms looked attractive with new carpets, curtains and upholstery. There's adequate storage and a small but well appointed bathroom, and frequently re supplied fresh towels, nice bed linens, too.

The most difficult situation was a lack of functioning air conditioning in many cabins for the entire 11 days.
