Sail Date: Jun 2014

This was the first cruise that either my husband or I have ever been on. After booking the trip over 14 months in advance, we counted the days to our vacation through the cold and bleak Pennsylvania winter of 2013-2014. We were ready for sun and relaxation when we arrived in Grenada. We were not disappointed.

We spent the entire day before boarding the Diamant touring Grenada with a local guide named Mandoo, I highly recommend this tour with him. Please see my review on TripAdvisor for more information.

The boarding procedure, like everything else with Island Windjammers (IWJ) was well organized and laid-back. After processing passports and the like, we were on the ship and under sail in no time at all.

Cabin Review

Cabin Cabin 3

This cabin has two bunks which we found to be very comfortable. There are 2 drawers under the bottom bunk for storage as well as shelves for tucking away your luggage and a rod for hanging clothing if need-be. In addition, there are hooks everywhere you look, so unless you've severely over-packed, storage is not an issue.
