We took the Viking Tulips and Windmills cruise this spring and enjoyed it tremendously. We had a veranda suite with a small living room, and enjoyed it very much, although we spent so much time in the very pleasant public gathering rooms that we really didn't have to have the suite. We might save money next time and just get a regular room.

The Delling is a brand new ship and very well designed. The service of all the staff was really quite extraordinary--the best we've ever experienced. One particularly helpful person was a young man named Galen, but all went above and beyond. The food was very good--at times excellent--but always good. The main point of our going on this trip was to see the tulips at Keukehof , and on the day we visited there, we were blessed with a bright sunny day with the tulips at their best--truly a magnificent garden which we'll never forget. On a cruise, I think you may not see as much of a country as one would if you were traveling by yourself, but we greatly enjoyed sitting in the lounge with a drink in our hand and seeing the picture post card landscape roll by. We'd definitely recommend this Viking tour.
