We flew down to Fort Lauderdale the day we cruise to a very wet day, it seem to rain all day. This is the last time I will fly down the day of the cruise. By the time we got to the ship, I was done. There was a weather warning "BIG SNOW STORM" and it had me worried that our flight would be cancelled. Well I did not get any sleep and by the time I did sleep I was up almost 40 hours. It is a good thing that the beds are great and the rocking motion of the Legend, I was out like a rock by 11 pm. We had a balcony cabin at the back, it was very nice, great for sitting out under the stars. This was our first balcony, now we will never go back. The ship was very nice, i liked it alot. The urns hmm I think they are trophies, legends need trophies. Right. I also loved the art work. Every where you looked there was Art, not like the last two cruises. Don't get me wrong I love all 3 ships I have been on but this one is the best. The Firebird lounge is way out there. I liked it. The crew worked very hard at keeping the ship clean. There were a few pigs onboard who did nothing but make a mess, but there was always someone there to clean up after the slobs. So far this has been my favorite ship, I love the detailing in every thing I saw. I did have a good time at the slot machines. I won some,I lost some, but I won more then I lost. The bands were good, the band on lido deck was good, the band at sachamos was ok, and the piano bar guy was not bad, he had a very week voice. The show the village Idiots sucked. it put us to sleep. The show Swinging with the big bands was fun, as well as the Dancers. I did not se the talent show, but what I saw on tv was not very good. We did the two ocean train in Panama, it is very over price for what you get, but it is a good way to see Panama. Colon is very nasty Panama city is very clean of what we saw of it. The Locks are neat but I see them at Wellen, see one, see them all. Costa rica was also very dirty, very poor. We did the Pontoon jungle ride. It was fun, seen some bat, camiens, some howler monkeys and some sloths. very cool. very pretty country side. If you go here get out of the city, the city are dirty. We did not see the main land in Belize, we went to a island and got in the water with the Dolphins, no swimming with them, just got to see them while they where being trained. By the time we got back to the ship it was getting late and we though we did not have time to go into town. We want a swim in the pool to cool off instead. We thought the food was very good, if there was something for everybody. I liked the stewed Caribbean peppers, and the diet lemon cake. I could have it for the starters and the main coarse. We also so thought that the toast could be better. it was cooked on one side and it was cold. I heard some of bitching about the food but the same people were also eating a pound of bacon or more every morning. Someone is going to have a heart attack.

There is a couple of great servers on Lido deck. Felix and a guy from Scotland they are great guys. There is a girl at the Odyssey lounge that was also a real sweet heart, Amile. These three people never once gave me a hard time about my fountain card, they are the best A1 in my books. Not like that Alie fellow on lido. He would take my order and then never come back. All in all we had a wonderful time, Lots of fun and "R and R." It took a few days to get our land legs back The dEcor of this ship is my favorite so far, the crew are great work very hard, And I mean very hard. I would I go on carnival Legend again, in a heart beat!
