This was our second cruise with Viking. Our first cruise was on the Viking Pride out of Paris. I think the Viking Pride was the oldest ship in the fleet and the Viking Bragi was one of the newest. When we were on the Viking Pride we thought that was the best cruise we have ever been on. We loved the ship and especially the crew. We knew at that time Viking was our cruise line. Compared to the big ships - well, you really can't compare because it's a totally different experience. When you are looking for a cruise you must ask yourself what you expect: If you are looking for a lot of parties, heavy drinkers and a choice of a lot of shipboard entertainment, then Viking is not for you. And if you have kids and are looking for a lot of ship activities, this may also not be a good choice. But, if you are a serious traveler and want to be catered to in a friendly, intimate environment, I am convinced you won't find a better cruise line than Viking.

The Viking Bragi was a beautiful brand new Long Ship. Our room had a Veranda, which was not available on the Pride. This ship had an Aquavit Terrace which also was not available on the Pride. We loved eating outside especially for lunch. It gave you a new eating option, which was great. One thing between the two cruises was the same: The Crew. I don't know how they could have made the service any better. I can't think of a reason we would ever look for another cruise line. They gave us a perfect experience! Any small issues or problems were resolved quickly, efficiently, and with a positive attitude!

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

Our cabin was large, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The bathroom was very well laid out, and we did not feel cramped at all.
