Enjoyed a splendid western Med cruise on board the Costa Deliziosa. first time with them but would place above Celebrity as they have not gone in for the petty cost savings that affect the service so much and dining room standards were very high.

the ship - bright and at first seemingly brash and I could not get my mind around the mindset of the architect but after a day or two it all seems to work. Loads of space - busy or quiet corner - whichever takes your fancy.

the cabin first class - the balcony enormous by comparison with other cruise lines. the crew friendly, indeed very friendly and charming and certainly well trained, not a problem with any of them. The entertainment really good in the main theatre. The clientele mainly Italian - they do like their little gameshows etc around the pool - not very british to take part! they do have style though. Pricing about average - not worth it to us the to take the drinks package as not great drinkers. Not too strict on bringing water etc on to the ship either.

Cabin Review

Cabin B1

As stated above the room was excellent, loads of storage space. TV a bit limited for UK - BBC world news and a CNN channel. The balcony was very large - I would guess 10' wide and 6' from door to rail. Cabin service was really good and we felt looked after.
