So full disclosure, I am an American whose mother immigrated to the United States from Italy at the age of 13, so I am used to loud relatives and delicious home cooked meals.

My husband and I decided to book this cruise in celebration of my birthday and we were limited in terms of our duration and timing of travel. We thought this cruise would allow us to visit some beautiful places in a short amount of time with limited amount of hassle.
