This was our first river cruise. The river cruiser was excellant and the food was absolutlely fabulous. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and all the staff on board were friendly and helpful. The itinerary was good with excursions being in the morning and optional ones in the afternoon. However, some of the excursion destinations were particularly disappointing with very little to see or do. Other excursions needed more time for sightseeing rather than a tour around a particular building. Some of the local guides made it very clear that the Balkan war may be over but nothing was forgetten and definately not forgiven.

We took the add-on 3 nights to Transylvania. Overall it was enjoyable, but there was little time to explore Brasos, which was our base.

We also took an optional excursion to Constana on the Black Sea. This was a very poor tour. It took a long time to get there and was very boring. I would not recommend it.

Very clean and comfortable. Alot of thought had gone into the design of the space. Although quite small, it gave us everything we needed.
