We have been on several Viking cruises and have loved them all! This year we flew to Budapest and spent two nights in a lovely hotel with great views of the Danube. We boarded our ship and sailed along the Danube, visiting many towns along the way. The tours were all included in the price and we found them all very interesting. The guides we had were excellent and gave us lots of information. Our cabin on board was roomy and comfortable and the meals were amazing! Viking had arranged local singers and dancers to come on board to entertain us which were most enjoyable and great fun. The cruise ended in Bucharest where we again stayed in a lovely hotel in the centre of the city. From there we were taken to the airport to fly back home. We certainly enjoyed our trip very much! I should like to say that last year on our Viking cruise we had some money stolen in a city and the Viking crew could not have been more helpful! Stephanie especially went out of her way to make things easier for us. We have told many of our friends about our great holidays on Viking and some of them have booked to travel in the future. We ourselves have already booked to go with Viking on the Douro river next year! Valerie and Middleton Bruce.
