This was my 10th cruise and 4th on NCL and I write this review with mixed thoughts. Seemingly, NCL has forgotten that their customers, for the most part, have chosen to spend a week’s vacation with their product. Isn’t this about “customer service?” I have chosen to cruise on NCL because of the ports and their new ships (Breakaway and Getaway), is it time to leave this cruiseline?

MJS shuttle from FLL to POM. Found this new shuttle service via TripAdvisor. $13/person. Michael communicated via email 2 days prior to pick-up. I returned car to Rental Car Center at FLL. MJS Shuttle picked up at arrival terminal. The driver texted and called a few times to double check-in with me. Terrific service and van- drove right to Norwegian’s Getaway port of Miami. (There were no markings on the van indicating that it was the MJS shuttle. The driver had to call again to tell me that he was here.) Highly recommend this new shuttle service.

Embarkation- “cake-walk” Extremely friendly check-in person, well organized and speedy. Was on the ship at 12:30pm and went directly to cabin 12302 Family Balcony Cabin. The left wall of the balcony can easily be opened by inserting a small sewing scissor into the square hole to unlock the dividing wall. There is no access to that balcony’s wasted space by the next suite cabin. The wall is only there as an aesthetic balance of the ship. Through the course of 10 months, the prices kept dropping for this cruise, started in lowest deck- inside cabin. Up-graded to guarantee window then to deck 12: Family Balcony Cabin ($9 additional). This cabin with 4 people in it, would be crowded and uncomfortable. Air conditioning in the cabin will not stay on as set. The Room credit was never applied to the cabin. Every day went to cruise-credit desk and got a “run around.” “Oh, we need to email home office.” “Oh, someone did not email the home office.” Never got the cabin credit owed on the ship.
