This was a wonderful trip. We want to plan another Viking cruise.

* Planned activities - a good variety of excursions and activities on the ship. Great pacing of activities and options. Enjoyed the various ports, excursions and free time allowed at each. Never felt rushed or overextended. Great that we could spend personal time at each port doing what we wanted. Always felt safe and comfortable. It was nice to have the excursions included in the price. When I travel on a big cruise hundreds of people go to port at the same time and visiting the area seems like a tourist event. I did not get this feeling on this cruise.

* Meals - great food and service. We enjoyed being able to sit anywhere with anyone we wanted at each meal. We appreciated the option of sitting on the deck or in the dining room with great food at each location. Nice to have beer and wine options at no cost at meals - many times local products. Several times the food options included menus typical of the region. We got to try new or different things if we wanted.

Cabin Review

Cabin standard

Typical cruise sized cabin. Nice linens and BIG TV with more options than expected. We were way to busy outside the cabin to use the TV movies, series etc. but did appreciate hearing the news back home before going to bed each night. We appreciated the internet service in our cabin and in most locations on the ship. Variety of types of plugs allowed use without an adaptor.
