Sailed from Liverpool on the 24th November Cruised towards the Azores for 3 days then we were confined to our Cabins as it was to dangerous to walk about the ship as it bobbed about the stormy Atlantic 4 days. Staff were wonderful but entertainment very very limited. No signal to cabin on TV so had no alternative but to watch repeats again and again from an assortment of old films This went on for 4 days before the Captain on the Navigational bridge had no alternative but to abandon any thought of visiting the Azores. So as a very poor alternative we ended up in the Canaries. We then settled into a pretty good cruise food was fantastic and the entertainment was brilliant but even this didn't make up for the fact that a small ship like the Boudica could not cope with seas that any P&O ship would have managed with out ant trouble. Did we get any apologies NO Did we get any money back because for us the cruise was ruined NO. If you want to visit the Azores GO with P&O because Fred Olson and I quote "Do not Guarantee the arrival at any port booked as part of a cruise" So that means once they have your money they will cruise and visit ports they want to visit which is not where you were expecting to go The main reason we booked this cruise was to visit the Azores
Small but comfortable
