This being our 4th cruise with Viking we were prepared for the varied well designed meals, the wonderful way the crew answers questions and offers solutions for any situation. We have been in Amsterdam several times and understood the openness by which the Dutch accept different life styles. We understand the Euro and the union that was formed throughout Europe, we were aware of the ease of getting from the airport to the city and the small crowded streets as we moved our luggage to an apartment for a pre-three-night stay. But having never been in the Netherlands in April, we were not prepared for the beautiful fields of flowers and the crowded Keukenhof gardens. We have never seen that many buses in our lives. But April in Holland is not to be missed. It's truly an explosion of color, taste, and emotions as you wind your way through the wonderful canals and streets of the various little villages. Some shops and cafes were closed, but you could find a cup of coffee or a souvenir somewhere, and at the end of each stop there was a friendly crew to assist you on board and prepare you for the next delightful surprise at the dining table. We've booked a Viking Cruise for September 2015 and look forward to all the quality it offers. Viking is truly the ruler of the rivers in Europe. We hope each year will give us another of their wonderful voyages.
The Magni along with all the other cleverly designed ships of its style are truly works of art. From the entertainment on the tv, to the comfy bed, we enjoyed our cabin and our cruise in September 2015 will be the same ship and cabin.
