This was our 6th cruise but first on Disney. We got a last minute deal and decided to give it a try.

The cabin was nice. Similar to our ocean view room on Carnival with the split baths. We enjoyed our cruise. The ship was not sailing at capacity to it was easy to swim in the pools, see the shows, find a lounger, etc. Our kids enjoyed the two kids clubs and asked to go often. They enjoyed the pool and my 6 year old son enjoyed the slide. My husband was too tall to ride it. They also enjoyed the hot tubs which unlike our last cruise on another line...these were actually hot.We enjoyed the food on this cruise. We never had a bad meal in the dining room. Our dining staff were all great. Food at buffets were pretty good. Pizza at the pool was not very good but the chicken fingers were. The steak n cheese was very gross. The kids enjoyed the hot dogs and hamburgers. The entertainment was great. The shows we did see were good. Our kids just couldn't stay up that late each night. The pirate night doesn't even get started until after 9:30. The firework show was very good. We also saw Golden Mickeys and we all enjoyed it. We met a lot of characters. Frozen, princesses and disney jr were ticketed events and that was really nice. Some character lines did get busy and had a long wait. We stopped at Cozumel and did our usual of going to Paradise Beach. Castaway Cay was great. We loved it and wish we went there twice. The water and beach were very nice. Lunch was pretty good. The slides were fun. The kids enjoyed a dance party with the characters. It was a great day.Overall we had a great time on our Disney cruise. We have enjoyed every line we have sailed on. I wouldn't pay a ton extra to go on a Disney cruise again but for the right price we would definitely do it again and it would have to go to Castaway Cay!
