This was our very first cruise. We took our 9 year old son with us and drove to Galveston from Kansas. The trip was long, but not difficult. We parked or vehicle with EZ cruise parking. I was very impressed with the cost and quality. They loaded our luggage coming and going and were very pleasant. I highly recommend them.

We boarded the ship as soon as we could, and dined on the buffet will passengers loaded. It took until late evening to get our luggage to our room, but we did get all of our luggage. The cabin attendant was very nice and accommodating, especially with our son.

The food was great. I loved how we could constantly get food whenever we wanted whether it be from the Windjammer, or the small cafe in the solarium. We only dined in the formal dining room 3 times, but all of them were fantastic. Our servers were great and very entertaining. We were worried about the dress code, but did not have any problems. I would select early dining next time though, the late dining got to be too late to wait, and we would generally end up eating at the windjammer before our regular dining. I have to say that breakfast was the best! Everything you can imagine was available for breakfast, fruit, biscuits, cereal, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, muffins, eggs, oatmeal, the list goes on and on.
