Let me first say that the Ship, the Crew, the Entertainment were all excellent. My problems were with the behavior of some of the Children onboard, and their total lack of respect for fellow passengers. Considering this ship does have many venues specific for children I was constantly surprised by the amount of young children with their parents in some of the Bar Areas. We found it almost impossible to find a quiet spot to read, even in the LIBRARY!! . Rather than cause a scene I found myself constantly ' on the move' trying to find a quiet spot to read without having to retreat to my cabin.

Most of these issues were due to lack of manners, discipline and proper supervision although there were also many well behaved kids many others were not, quite often some of this behavior was in plain sight of their parents.

As I first said we were very pleased with the Star and most of the service, apart from a few meals that were rather cool and sub par food at Ginza ... we will have to look hard at our next choices with Norwegian, there were to many promotions for raffle/lottery tickets, ..buy water!! ....it all became rather tiresome.
