I have been a DVC member since 1994 and last week was the first Disney cruise with my wife, no kids. Maybe I'm a little bias here but I felt the cruise ship was excellent. It may not be one of those newer and bigger ships, been on some of those, but it still has it. The room was bigger than most cruise line ships, gotta love the split bathroom. It was clean and nothing I could see was worn or aged. One problem was the bed had a sag in the side. I told the cabin steward as we were going for breakfast and said they would take care of it. When we returned about an hour later it had been replaced along with a call from the front desk. Now that's service. The buffet line was never a line. It flowed even with the little kids having their parents serving them. Dinners have a good selection to choose from. I liked the rotating dining rooms each night. It was a little crowded at the adult pool so get there by 9. There is the deck just above where it was no problem getting a chair and plenty of towels. The comedy show they had were very good try not to miss them. The ones we went to were for adults but were not dirty. The stage shows they had were broadway production and the usual Disney theme. One thing get there no later than ten minutes after the doors open and if you have little ones try to sit in the center first 10 rows, they will love what happens! It was a cloudy and raining day at Castaway Cay but if it wasn't it looked like a nice beach to be on. You can't blame Disney for bad weather!!! Since it was raining the ship added multiple activities on the ship so you and the kids wouldn't get bored.

We had a window room this cruise and felt no need for a balcony since wew were never in the room. We were having toom much fun!!!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin 9D

It was cleqan and not worn. The size was excellent and we loved the split bathroom. The matress had a sag in the side. I told the cabin steward as we were going to breakfast and he said it would be taken care of. When we returned from breakfast the mattress had been replace and also got a call from the front desk to make sure everything was good. I feel that on a shorter cruise lie this one a window is fine. We didn't need the balcony. We never were in the room!!!!
