Let me start by saying this was my 14th cruise,my 7th on RCCL and my wife's 6th with all of hers being on RCCL. We are a married couple in our early 50s but very young thinking.

Arrival: We arrived a day early (Northwest Airlines) in Ft. Lauderdale and rented an SUV from Alamo. The line moved a bit slowly and when we finally got to the rental counter, they let us choose a vehicle. We told them we preferred an American made vehicle (since I work for an American car company) and they aid they didn't think they had any available, but we could go and look. Well we found a Jeep Liberty which fit the bill and we liked it just fine. We stayed at a friends house overnight and got up in the morning to drive to Miami. It only took about 30 minutes and we dropped the car off and waited for the shuttle to the port. We only had to wait about 15 minutes and the driver dropped us off out front. The sign said 2:00 boarding, but being seasoned cruisers we knew we could board earlier. We are platinum Crown & Anchor members so we got to go in a special line. After showing our documentation, we got our sea passes and got in a line of about 50 people. We only had to wait about 15 minutes and actually boarded about 11:50am. BY the time we walked a round and had our picture taken, the WindJammer was open. I got a Coke card and then we used the hand sanitizer outside of the dining rooms and we went in to have lunch. We then walked around a bit and made massage reservations for both of us. We then went to our cabin about 1:30pm. One of the only negatives was we were on deck seven fore and there was a slight sewage smell in the hallway. After we entered the cabin we could not smell it at all, but we did notice it a few more times in the hallway.

We were a bit reluctant because we knew there were a lot of spring break kids on this cruise, but overall,I will have to say they were pretty well behaved. Dining room Service: We ate dinner every night in the dining room and the WindJammer for lunch and Breakfast. What has happened to all of the personality the waiters use to have on RCCL? Our waiter did an adequate job, but didn't have any flair. The assistant waitress was great! We were seated with a family of 6 who were very personable, except they had one teenage girl who was very fussy about her food, but she was very polite.
